Random Sequences Interpolating with Probability One

Rafal Rudowicz

Institute of Mathematics, Technical University of Wroclaw Wybrzeze Wyspianskiego 27, 50-370 Wroclaw, Poland

Received 1 March 1992.

Let {{theta}n} be a sequence of independent random variables uniformly distributed on [0, 2{pi}], and let {rn} be a sequence of (deterministic) radii in [0, 1). Form points of the unit disc putting zn = rne{theta}n. We characterize those sequences {rn} for which {zn} is an interpolating sequence with probability one.
