Received 21 June 2007. Revision received 15 April 2008.

If A is a unital separable simple nuclear quasidiagonal C*-algebra, then M(A {otimes} K) has the AF-property in the strict topology; that is, there is a unital AF-subalgebra C {subseteq} M(A {otimes} K) such that C is strictly dense in M(A {otimes} K). We also give a multiplier algebra characterization of nuclearity and quasidiagonality for a unital separable simple C*-algebra.
